BT has opened a new website named www.racetoinfinity.bt.com where communities with slow BB can bid for a Fibre Cable.
If enough bids are received BT will place the area on top of a league table for early Fibre Cable installation.
Don’t hold your breath.

My great grandfather, William Jordan, left the village in the late 19th century to work on the railway in Birmingham. He came from a large family of agricultural labourers whom I can trace back to Jonathon Jordan who was born in the village in 1806. I know there are plenty of Jordans in the churchyard but would love to know if any are still living in the area and could tell me anything about the family.
