Cotswold Flood Plan Announced

NEW proposals aimed at preventing a repeat of the floods that devastated parts of the Cotswolds in 2007 have been announced.

Plant Sale in Church – At 2pm on 9th May – Village Church

Don’t forget all proceeds go to funding different things within the village.
So forget the garden center and buy your quality plants really locally.

The plant sale will be held on the 9th May at 2pm. A wide variety of bedding and vegetable plants will be on sale in our beautiful Church. Teas will be available, as in previous years.

Quiz Night – At 7.30 on 16th May – Village Hall

Start studying those encyclopedia’s now! Rumours are that we have some professionals masquerading as amateurs.
A Quiz evening & 2 course hot supper. Please book a place individually or in teams of 4 or 6.

W.I. Meeting – At 7.30pm on 7th May – Village Hall

We will be discussing the resolutions. The talk is by Robin Dale ‘A Walk on the Wild Side’.
All Welcome.

It's Official, Fix My Street Works!!!

We reported a blocked pipe on Fix My Street and, Hey Presto, the report landed on our highways representative’s desk for him to take care of. It was minus the photo so the description of the problem is very important. Give it a try, if there is something that needs attention get it reported.

Church appeal launch

Many hands make light work, or so the saying goes. If so, the start to the church appeal, was a resounding success with a great turnout from villagers.

A lot was discussed with ideas and thoughts aired.
